The Yaw team is a Submodule within Vestas R&D that is responsible for the design of the Yaw Systems of all Vestas Turbines.
Responsibilities As an Electromechanical Engineer (Assistant Lead), you will be joining a team of collaborative engineers responsible for the design and integrity of the Yaw System.
Your tasks will vary in complexity and nature but will mostly focus on verifying the structural integrity of the components we develop.
A typical workflow might look like this.
Clarify and align design requirements with all relevant stakeholders Perform Failure Mode Analysis (i.
.
DFMEA) Obtain and often modify CAD geometries to match those requirements Set up and implement FE analyses to verify the new geometry Iterate all the above until we converge on an optimal design Create and maintain documentation for the design Qualifications     M.

within Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering or related fields Minimum combined 2-3 years relevant experience Fluent in English (written and spoken) Experience with Ansys or Creo Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and tools (e.
