DIRECTOR, EMERGING ALLIANCES

Position Description.
CGI is looking for a high energy candidate to lead our new Emerging Alliances program.
This role provides an opportunity to facilitate and drive growth with CGI’s business units through close collaboration with high growth, emerging alliances in the IT sector.
The Director of Emerging Alliances will work closely with a set of emerging alliance partners to help them align with CGI’s strategic business units to help expand our partnership into new geographies and industries.
This individual will also be responsible for the management, reporting and development of (multiple) Managed Emerging Alliances partners.
This position can be located anywhere in the United States or the United Kingdom.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
The Director of Emerging Alliances will manage a portfolio of emerging alliance partners (i.

4 to 6 partners) and work to scale these partnerships from specific SBU’s into other new SBU’s and industries over time.
This individual will develop our joint alliance partner plan, shared KPI’s and Go To Market plans to establish CGI as a preferred alliance partner.
Your responsibilities include.
• The Emerging Alliance Director is a dedicated role (100%) time commitment.
• Develop Managed Emerging Alliance partners, working with the Partner Development Managers (PDMs) and aligning with the strategic goals and direction of CGI and the Partner.
• To create and execute a growth partner business plan, to increase CGI pipeline, revenue, capability and overall market adoption of Emerging Alliance partner aligned solutions.
• Collaborate with the Global Partner Development Manager (PDMs) to define and execute Go to Market (GTM) programs that define key offerings and focus on growth and innovation.
• To facilitate smooth working relationships between CGI and the Emerging Alliance partner organization, managing the relationship at the global level whilst developing the CGI-Partner business relationships across CGI.
• Establish strong senior executive level relationships between CGI leaders and the partners executive team.
• Manage, track and report regular pipeline, opportunity, capability and business reviews for each Managed Emerging Alliance and internal stakeholders across CGI.
• To evangelize Emerging Alliance solutions and value propositions within CGI and evangelize CGI expertise and value within the Emerging Alliance Partners and their clients.
• To support deal activity, deal registration and business development activity with the Emerging Alliance to best position CGI.
• Support CGI members in upskilling and gaining certification in Emerging Alliance technology.
• Manage and maintain the Emerging Alliance Partner Portals.
• Manage escalations and facilitate resolution where necessary.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
Bachelors degree and 5+ years of directly related experience.
Past experience leading global technology alliances.
Excellent communications and organization skills.
Prior experience developing and implementing a business plan that drove successful outcomes.
