Key Features.
- The site needs to support both desktop and mobile platforms.
- The platform will allow users to create their own area to sell their digital photos - The marketplace will exclusively offer digital photos.
- The site will offer 'Instant Downloads'.
When a customer purchases any digital photo, they should be able to download it immediately.
- Able to create a site that allows users to create an area where they can then create "events" to upload their photos to.
- Give the users the ability to "tag" their photos in order to search by the tag.
- Allow users to create their own pricing structure for their photos.
- Make use of AWS to store any uploaded photos with the ability to access the photos for download.
- Create an ecommerce site, which allows us to collect subscription fees from the users as well as allow customers the ability to purchase the user's photos.
- Create an administration side, so that the owners can view different statistics from a dashboard.
- Use of a backend database to hold user, administration and possibly customer information.
User Interaction.
- In order to sell digital photos, the users will need to create an account to do so.
- The website will not require customers to create accounts to purchase.
They can simply browse and buy photos without any registration hassle.
- Even though it is not required to register to purchase, the ability to create an account should be available to any customers.
Ideal Skills & Experience.
- Proven experience in developing marketplace websites - Strong understanding of digital goods ecommerce - Ability to implement secure and efficient 'Instant Download' systems.
- It is preferred that the site be developed with.
