About the role A Demand Forecaster in (COMPANY NAME) is responsible for creating baseline unconstrained forecasts at SKU level using statistical analysis and incorporating local market intelligence to generate an unbiased value/volume demand forecast for current and new products can be submitted to the Supply operation as a key part of the IBP/ S&OP process.
Use KPIs to measure Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Bias in the plans.
As Demand Forecasting Professional you will be responsible for the performance management process with respect to data integrity, completeness and availability of reports and collation to support efficient operations in the End-to-End planning cluster.
Key responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following.
* Manage the escalation of issues where data is not being submitted in line with agreed timeframes on an ongoing basis.
* Lead all reporting in support of the performance management system and data provision from all parts of the supply chain.
* Drive the agenda to ensure that the data integrity is embed in the ways of working within the business.
* Drive the data collection and creation process to ensure support of all launches are on time and fully supporting the consumer healthcare growth agenda.
* Ensure that data is entered accurately and maintained as per the service level agreement with the business.
* Assist and resolve data queries from internal and external customers including coordination and resolution of interface errors between systems when data is not being transmitted successfully.
* Set up the data capture process ensuring that standardized ways of working are adopted in the data maintenance process.
* Ensure that the team is trained, and data/system requirements are documented into SOP's.
* Work Collaboratively with other departments to ensure Continuous Improvement in E2E Processes.
* Root Cause Analysis done on Poor Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Risks (OOS or SLOBS).
Qualifications and skills Essential Education.
* Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics.
Experience and skills.
* Background in pharmaceutical/consumer healthcare will be a plus.
* Highly developed analytical and MS Excel skills.
* Experience with demand forecasting tools SAP (APO or IBP).
* English and Portuguese Fluent.
* Adequate relevant experience in logistics, supply management, demand management or operational management.
* Ability to be proactive in leading and managing information and data from the supply chain organization.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Leadership and influencing skills.
* Strong awareness of customer centricity.
* Ability to apply strategic and lateral thinking to deliver large scale network solutions.
This role will be based in Lisbon area, Portugal.
