Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related; Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified.
Azure Database Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified.
Data Management and Analytics; Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with a focus on SQL Server; In-depth knowledge of SQL Server versions (, and above); Experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrading SQL Server instances; Proficiency in Transact-SQL (T-SQL) for database administration and development; Ability to monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance; Experience in performance tuning of queries and indexes; Experience with backup and recovery strategies using native SQL Server tools and third-party solutions; Knowledge of high availability solutions, such as Always On Availability Groups, failover clustering, and database mirroring; Knowledge of SQL Server security practices, including access control, data encryption, and auditing; Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automating administrative tasks; Experience with tools such as SQL Server Agent for job scheduling and automation; Experience with monitoring and management tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Profiler, and third-party tools like Redgate or SolarWinds; Ability to diagnose and resolve performance and availability issues in the database; Ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions in critical situations.
