DATA ANALYST / DATA SCIENTIST (MEMBER REFERRAL)

Position Description.
Qualifications.
• Technical Skills.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Familiarity with ETL Familiarity with big data technologies (e.
., Hadoop, Spark) and data pipeline tools (e.
., Apache Airflow).
Understanding of statistical methods, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time series analysis • Experience.
3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.
., Azure) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities.
• Data Analysis & Exploration.
Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategies.
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data distributions, detect outliers, and identify potential data quality issues.
Use statistical techniques to analyze and interpret complex data, providing insights that drive business decisions.
• Machine Learning & Predictive Modeling.
Design, develop, and implement machine learning models for prediction, classification, clustering, and other data science applications.
Evaluate the performance of models using appropriate metrics and improve them through iterative processes.
Deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and reliable.
• Data Engineering.
Collaborate with data engineers to design and build scalable data pipelines that support analytics and machine learning projects.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability throughout the data processing pipeline.
Work with structured and unstructured data sources, including databases, APIs, and big data technologies (e.
., Hadoop, Spark).
• Feature Engineering & Data Preprocessing.
Develop and implement feature engineering strategies to enhance model performance.
Perform data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to prepare datasets for analysis and modeling.
Collaborate with domain experts to understand the context and significance of data features.
• Statistical Analysis & Experimentation.
Design and conduct experiments (e.
., A/B testing) to test hypotheses and measure the impact of changes in business processes.
Apply advanced statistical methods to analyze experimental data, ensuring robust and valid conclusions.
Communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Collaboration & Communication.
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into data science solutions.
Present complex technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders, helping them understand the value of data-driven decisions.
Stay updated on the latest data science trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to improve existing processes and solutions.
