Key Features.
- Admin Dashboard.
I require an admin interface that allows for the management and editing of schedules.
- Crew Member Accounts.
Each crew member should have an account to upload their own schedules, view available ride alongs, and manage requests.
- PDF Compatibility.
The website must have the capability to read PDF files.
Crew members should be able to upload their schedules in PDF format, and the website should automatically assign them to the correct flights based on their names in the PDF.
- Ride Along Request System.
Other crew members should be able to log in and request to ride along with a crew member.
A notification email should be sent to the crew member on the flight, who will need to acknowledge and accept the request.
- Schedule Display.
The schedule should be displayed in a calendar view on the website.
Access Controls.
- Admins should have the ability to view and edit all schedules.
- Crew members can upload their own schedules, view available ride alongs, and request ride alongs.
Ideal Skills and Experience.
- Proficiency in web development, preferably with experience in creating user-friendly interfaces.
- Familiarity with PDF parsing and integrating this functionality into a website.
- Experience in developing a request management system.
- Ability to implement strict access controls based on user roles.
