YOUR ROLE * Develop, implement, and refine a process to deploy firmware updates to CPE devices across large-scale networks while minimizing customer service disruptions.
* Perform CPE device configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting, ensuring firmware is properly integrated into the existing infrastructure.
* Leverage Ansible for automating firmware deployment tasks and Python for developing scripts to facilitate efficient operations, validation, and troubleshooting.
* Validate the success of firmware updates post-deployment, ensuring that devices function as expected and that no service interruptions occur.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the deployment process is efficient and that issues are identified and resolved quickly.
* Document the firmware deployment process, lessons learned, troubleshooting steps, and any changes made to the system.
* Track the progress of firmware updates, monitor device health during and after deployment, and generate reports to provide transparency and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
YOUR PROFILE * CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification is required.
* Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and network protocols.
* Proven experience in configuring, operating, and troubleshooting CPE devices.
* Hands-on experience with firmware updates, including validation and testing of the impacted services.
* Proficiency in Ansible for task automation and Python for scripting and automation purposes is a plus.
* Manage large-scale deployments with minimal impact on customer service.
