Vestas Power Solutions develops the wind power systems of the future.
The Hub Module is a part of Nacelles R&D and has sites in Denmark, India, and Portugal.
The module is fully responsible for the capabilities, design, specification, and documentation of the hub.
This includes design and analysis from the early concept study for new turbines to the final specification for production.
Additionally, we are also looking ahead to verify new technologies such that these can be part of future turbine project.
The Hub team is also providing technologies in the areas of hub design and service.
You will join a very international team, that is in India, Denmark, and Portugal.

Responsibilities * Responsible for develop and implement strategies to reduce costs for both ongoing and new projects * Identify cost-saving opportunities by analyzing project requirements and specifications * Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects * Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making processes * Prepare and submit regular cost control reports to management * Work with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Engineering, Cost management,...) to optimize costs * Build and maintain a robust pipeline covering technical, commercial, and value chain aspects Qualifications * Bachelor / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural or similar * Knowledge of finance and financial analysis * 2-5 years of experience in cost engineering or related roles * Solid analytical and problem-solving skills * Effective communication and interpersonal skills * Proficiency in cost estimating software and tools Competencies * Good skills in English, both written and verbal * Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing/Assembly/Service concepts * Technical project management skills * Focus on the project scope, ability to understand the impact a scope change will have on the project * Accountable and focus on delivering on time * Financial analysis and cost estimation techniques * Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams What we offer We offer you an exciting and inspiring job with great professional and personal development opportunities in an inspiring, international work environment at an established manufacturer of wind turbines.
