Subsea7 is launching the another edition of the Engineering Conversion Programme for the Installation and Project Engineering Department.
This has been a success initiative where, for the last 3 years in the Lisbon office, we have been providing to experienced Engineers from other industries the opportunity to take their existing skills and experience and develop them into a new career within the Energy business.
Through the programme many engineers have gone on to develop their careers within the sector and become leaders within the organisation.
How do we do it?      The Conversion Programme is a tailored scheme that introduces subsea engineering generally, and Subsea7 activities specifically.
There will be an assignment to a live project, with ongoing training, development and mentoring.
As part of this programme, you will be fully supported every step of the way through structured development and mentoring as well as informally by colleagues within the business.
The Role.
The Conversion Programme aims to recruit Installation and Project Engineers.
An Installation engineer is responsible for the installation of subsea structures, flexible flowlines, umbilical’s, cables, jackets, decks, bridges, risers systems and mooring systems.
You will prepare the scope of work and then support the offshore team during the operations.
You will ensure the interfaces with the Client, suppliers, offshore crew, procurement, and the design team.
This role requires to interface with multi-disciplinary teams.

in Mechanical, Marine, Offshore, Civil, Aerospace Engineering.
From a wide range of industries and backgrounds (as an example.
Aerospace, Automotive, Civil Construction, Materials, etc…).
Minimum of 5 years of working experience.
Experience abroad and in yards will be plus.
Keen to embrace a career in the Energy business.
Problem solver mindset with critical eyes for the details.
Good ability to work within a multi-disciplined and multicultural team.
Solid proficiency of English is required (comprehension and communication).
WORKING CONDITIONS.
Majority of the work is carried out at Subsea7 Lisbon Office, within a hybrid work regime.
