Freelancer for Quantity Estimation and BOQ Preparation Role.
Freelancer – Quantity Estimation & BOQ (Bill of Quantities) Preparation Responsibilities.
• Estimate quantities of materials and manpower required for construction projects based on provided drawings and specifications.
• Prepare a detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) outlining all materials, labor, and resources needed for the project.
• Create a structured template for BOQ that includes item descriptions, unit measurements, quantities, rates, and total costs for both materials and manpower.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure accuracy and completeness of the estimates and BOQ.
• Update the BOQ as project changes arise or new information becomes available.
Requirements.
• Experience in quantity surveying and BOQ preparation.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and labor requirements.
• Proficiency in using software tools like Excel or specialized BOQ software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating project needs.
Deliverables.
• Complete and accurate BOQ in the provided template.
• Estimation of quantities for all project elements, including materials and manpower.
This role is crucial to ensuring precise project planning and cost management.
