OUR ROLEWe are looking for a Cobol Developer to join our teams in Lisbon.
evelop and implement solutions in COBOL;Maintain and optimize the client’s systems, ensuring their performance and reliability;Identify and fix issues/bugs in existing systems;Collaborate with support teams, QA, and analysts;Ensure that the delivered solutions meet quality requirements and established deadlines;Create and maintain detailed technical documentation;Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
OUR PROFILEMinimum of 4 years of experience in COBOL development;Strong knowledge of DB2, CICS, and JCL;Experience in maintaining and evolving systems;Experience in debugging;Skills in requirements analysis;Experience in the Banking or Payments sector;Proficiency in the Portuguese language;Embody Capgemini’s values of Boldness, Trust, and Team Spirit, promoting collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and high-quality software delivery.
