Cloud Foundations Engineer - GCP Speciality "Be at the center of the cloud organization at Richemont, driving the transformation of our Technology cloud landing zones and supporting our Maisons in their cloud journey." Benjamin G.
- Cloud Foundations Team Lead CONTEXT For the last few years, Richemont has been conducting a fast-paced cloud transformation to accommodate our steady business's growth.
Today we are moving forward to the next level of cloud architecture, by leveraging multi cloud providers and providing a large variety of native services to our different Maisons.
As Cloud Foundations Engineer you will be part of the Cloud Foundations team within the Cloud & DevOps department.
Dealing with a wide audience of engineers and technical experts internally, you will also be in touch with our business partners and our Maisons.
This position is to strengthen Cloud Foundations team as increased workloads are brought to the cloud, therefore managing a large set of cloud providers.
You will contribute identifying provisioning requirements, set best practices, develop infrastructure and tools that enable the usage of our standard cloud providers.
And enable initiatives by providing advisory to project teams.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? * Contribute to the definition of standards and good practices on the cloud foundations of Richemont.
* Work hand in hand with projects and products counterparts to guide them through the cloud transformation within Richemont by using automation.
* Engage with stakeholders to discover opportunities and improvement points, map vision & requirements to specific products and components.
* Actively participate in the standardization of our architecture offers and contribute to the implementation of complex and smart automation and infrastructure as code.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? * Deep understanding of GCP is required.
AWS, Alibaba, and Azure (Azure AAD) are a plus.
* Experience as a Cloud Engineer.
* Experience in Software Engineering is a plus * Experience as building landing zone at scale in a global and multi-cloud environment.
* Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Terraform Enterprise.
* Experience with design and implement API interactions through the code * Excellent communication skills and autonomy into following task and assist projects.
* Good analytical thinking and skills to report efficiently to a wide audience.
* Fluent in English mandatory, French a plus.
* Strong understanding of Agile/DevOps operating model with experience and passion to work in a fast-paced Agile environment, delivering features in small time duration and utilizing automation whenever possible.
* Experience with coding and scripting, including Python and BASH.
Golang is a plus.
* Deep understanding of SDLC processes, cloud operations and support (ITIL) service delivery with hands-on ability to implement best practices or suggest improvements.
* Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
