The project We are building two new cloud managed services to provide PostgreSQL and Redis instances to SAP BTP users.
The services aim to help SAP internal and external clients to have a seamless experience when in the need of a database or caching service.
Given the connection to SAP Core Infrastructure this project is a major priority for SAP and BTP.
What you’ll do Build and maintain a complex BTP Cloud Services that are deployed in Cloud environment.
Learn new technologies, help the team adopt state of the art technologies and innovate.
Adhere to coding best practices and guidelines for clean code.
Drive and participate in design discussions on the best way forward to build the services.
If you want, you can explore DevOps world using Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
Collaborate with the team to work on and improve the agile practices.

What you’ll bring Love for software development and learning.
Hands-on expertise on TypeScript/Node.
S or Golang.
Well understanding of PostgreSQL and Redis services and their use cases.
Deep Git knowledge.
Containerization and Orchestration knowledge (Kubernetes, Docker).
Cloud development principals (the 12-factors) is beneficial.
IaaS experience with at least one Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure or GCP).
Confidence working within Unix / Linux shell environments.
Cloud DevOps knowledge is beneficial (eg.
Github Actions, Jenkins, Concourse, Terraform, etc..).
Ability to speak and write English fluently is mandatory.
