We are recruiting a CIO for a growing biotech company based in Oporto.
Responsabilidades - Develop and implement the company’s IT vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with overall business objectives; - Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance productivity, customer experience, and operational efficiency; - Oversee the selection and implementation of new technologies and ensure their alignment with business needs; - Establish policies and procedures to ensure the integrity, security, and efficiency of the organization’s IT systems and infrastructure; - Manage IT risks, including cybersecurity threats, data privacy regulations, and disaster recovery planning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards; - Oversee the development and management of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud services; - Ensure the smooth operation of critical systems (e.
., ERP, CRM) and maintain a robust IT support structure.
- Implement scalable solutions to support business growth and expansion; - Lead and mentor the IT department, including hiring, training, and developing technology talent; - Partner with other C-suite executives, including the CEO and CFO, to align IT strategy with the company’s overall objectives; - Present IT performance reports, project updates, and strategic recommendations to the board of directors and senior management.
Requisitos - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred); - Extensive experience (10+ years) in IT leadership roles, including management of IT strategy, infrastructure, and digital transformation projects; - Deep knowledge of Oracle Netsuite, is a plus.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT architecture, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data management; - Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to foster collaboration across departments; - Strong business acumen and ability to align IT strategy with organizational goals; - Experience with budget management, vendor negotiations, and contract management; - Effective communication skills to engage with both technical teams and senior executives.
