Purpose of the role.
This position is for the Captiva Developer to work as a member of a team and work directly with the Client.
Position Description.
The main function of a Developer (Java) is to design, develop, and implement applications using in-demand languages and technologies to support business requirements.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications • Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies • Designs, develops, tests and deploys code for C# APIs, Captiva framework definitions and form creation for supporting indexing of Business documents • Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities • Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution • Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area • Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment • Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
Education.
• Computer Science or Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experience Undergraduate Required Experience.
• 3 + years’ design and development experience with C# • 3 + years’ experience with API programming • 1 + year experience working with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) OR Captiva applications or similar technology such as Kofax • 3 + years’ experience working in true Agile lab projects throughout the full SDLC cycle • Strong communication skills to collaborate and articulate requirements with Scrum Master, BSAs other Developers and Testers in agile labs daily Nice to Have Skills.
• Good understanding of DevOps concepts and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline • Experience in Financial Industry • Experience with ES6/TypeScript/NodeJ • Experience programming with Python • Experience developing REST services • Experience with Swagger and openAPI Location.
