6-10years Job Description/ Position Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced C++ Lead Developer to oversee the design, development, and deployment of embedded C++ applications.
This role requires strong expertise in C++ and shell scripting, as well as in-depth knowledge of network communication protocols, specifically TCP/IP.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in both Windows and Linux environments, with a focus on system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Grafana experience is a plus, as it will be valuable for implementing visualization solutions for system performance monitoring.
Job Role/ Your future duties and responsibilities Lead Development.
Drive the design and development of embedded C++ applications, ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
Technical Guidance.
Mentor and guide development teams, promoting best practices in coding standards, security, and performance.
System Integration.
Integrate C++ modules with various systems and technology platforms to achieve seamless interoperability.
Network Communication Design.
Leverage expertise in TCP/IP protocols to build and optimize network communication modules.
Monitoring & Diagnostics.
Develop applications for system monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
Automation with Shell Scripting.
Automate system tasks and enhance monitoring using shell scripting for efficiency.
Cross-Platform Deployment.
Manage application deployment and troubleshooting on both Windows and Linux servers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end delivery and integration.
Code Quality & Review.
Ensure high standards in code quality by conducting code reviews and establishing robust testing protocols.
Performance Monitoring.
Implement performance monitoring and visualization tools, with Grafana experience as an advantage.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role Candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field, with at least 6-8 years of C++ development experience, including 2 years in a lead or senior role.
They possess proven expertise in designing and developing embedded C++ applications, as well as hands-on experience with shell scripting for automation.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and familiarity with both Windows and Linux environments, including deployment and troubleshooting, are essential.
Proficiency in code quality practices, code reviews, and monitoring tools, with Grafana as a plus, is required.
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills complete the profile, along with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
