BUSINESS SYSTEM ANALYST - CONVERSION

Position Description.
This role is hybrid and requires you to at client's office in Markham 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Quality & Profiling Analyst to become an integral part of our team! Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Participate in data analysis, as well as in the design of data and mapping requirements.
• Work with SMEs and business representatives to understand current data and define the appropriate mapping, resolving discrepancies during data definition as well as providing testing support.
• Document field mapping, migration rules, developing user test cases for migration test runs, testing the rules during the migration runs.
• Collect and formulate business requirements via interviews and user discussions.
• Document functional requirements, business processes, use-cases, and other project artifacts.
• Write, execute, and debug SQL queries to confirm data completeness, correctness, data transformation and data quality testing.
• Leverage industry profiling tools (SAP Information Steward) • Create data scorecards within Information Steward for inbound data feeds.
• Create, define, and document maps for inbound data feeds to internal targets using industry toolsets.
Experience • Experience in policy migration as a Business System Analyst • Experience in SQL queries to confirm data completeness, correctness, data transformation and data quality testing.
• Experience working with SMEs and business representatives to understand current data and define the appropriate mapping, resolving discrepancies during data definition as well as providing testing support.
• Experience with SAP Information Steward • Experience using SAP Information Steward to create data scorecards within Information Steward for inbound data feeds.
• Experience in creating, defining, and documenting maps for inbound data feeds to internal targets using industry toolsets.
• Nice to have P & C Insurance knowledge Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
