BUSINESS ANALYST - INTERMEDIATE

Position Description.
This is a great opportunity to join the CGI Group in Regina to provide leading information technology services to our clients.
We are seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst with at least 5 years' experience in an IT environment, including 2-3 years collaborating on complex application development projects.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Determine through reading documentation and interactive sessions with clients the business needs to be satisfied by new or enhanced IT applications • Use business process and data modeling techniques and tools to capture and analyze requirements • Model business processes and procedures • Formally document findings and present proposed solutions to clients • Provide Business Analysis support for Agile projects • Write high level functional and non-functional requirements • Develop use case views and use cases • Prepare and maintain project deliverables according to CGI's ISO certified processes • Participate in the development of business requirements documentation • Facilitate requirements workshops with client and technical team members • Effectively interact with and communicate requirements to technical team members • Participate in defining and potentially executing some aspects of system testing • Assist in defining estimates • Ensure Business Analysis tools, processes and techniques are current to industry standards May be required to.
• Participate in developing project plans for the related tasks of a project • Assist in developing proposed solution options with costs/benefits • Assist in designing logical and physical data models • Assist in designing storyboards • Lead or participate in requirements gathering workshops • Develop and execute test cases • Provide application training to client users Required qualifications to be successful in this role.

• Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to perform successfully under limited supervision, and • Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making abilities Mandatory Skills.
• 5 years or more post graduate related IT experience • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to interact with clients and team members • Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills • Business process analysis and modeling • Requirements Analysis experience in large business or government application development or maintenance environments Nice to Have.
• Microsoft Visio • Data modeling • Microsoft Project • SQL #LI-AJ1 Skills.
