A Heading esta a procura de um Tecnico (a) Veterinario (M/F) para Beira Main Responsibilities.
- The duties include setting the right proportions for ingredients, and overseeing work being done by bakers If baked goods must be packaged or decorated, he/she oversees this function, making sure the right packing and designing is done.
- His/her work often begins with procuring the materials needed for making products.
- Involved in most steps of food preparation, from mixing the ingredients to making sure the product tastes right, right up through the final stage when the product is put on display in the bakery or leaves the factory for sale.
- Responsible for making a wide range of breads, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Cooperatively work together to produce baked goods, especially during the preparation phase of production.
- A baker’s production duties include measuring and mixing ingredients into dough according to a recipe.
- The final tasks in the production process involves baking the shaped dough and, if applicable, decorating the final product.
- Constantly check that the correct quantities are being produced for each order they oversee.
Must be vigilant about using exact measurements and paying strict attention to timing.
- Work involves supervising and participating in baking a variety of bread and for assuring proper quality and quantity.
- Be innately creative, as he/she is expected to come up with original recipes for new baked goods.
- Sound knowledge of hygiene and safety standards and the discipline to enforce those standards.
- Maintains exceptional customer service, promotes sales, and supervises the sales and cleaning staff along with the other departments.
- Must train the sales staff and see that the bakery meets the health department compliances.
- Charge over quality control, product rotation, and stocking product age dated.
- Must also take charge of complaints and refunds.
- Keeps the production staff aware that customer satisfaction is a must and that baked goods must be completed in a timely manner.
- In charge of quality control on all non-decorated products.
- Enforces that baked goods are always on a time date control.
- Trains all bakers, including Company’s customer in the use of equipment.
- In charge of the front end maintaining exceptional customer service.
Qualification.
- Completion of eighth school grade; preferably supplemented by vocational training in industrial baking Training requirements vary - Bakers, mixers, oven tenders, dough molders, and other specialized production workers must have 3 to 4r years of training before they are considered experienced in their areas of specialization.
- Considerable knowledge of the types and grades of ingredients used in general bread baking.
- Must understand commercial high-speed bakeries and production equipment.
- Understanding the functionality of ingredients with time and temperature in the baking process required.
- Must have experience planning and coordinating use of manpower, ingredients and equipment to ensure efficient production of consistent quality products.
- Must understand the unique equipment in a bakery production plant, along with operation of that equipment relative to the baking process.
- Must have the ability to trouble shoot equipment to ensure optimum product quality and safety is achieved.
- Must be able to effectively lead, coach, train, and motivate people to follow established standards.
- Must be able to promote collaboration and enthusiasm in their team.
- Must be able to effectively monitor performance of direct reports and provide feedback to improve performance.
- Must have excellent oral communications skills.
- Some knowledge of health hazards in quantity baking and of effective precautionary measures.
- Ability to adapt standard recipes as required by variations in quantities requested.
- Ability to maintain records of output, quantities of ingredients used, and supplies on hand.
- Ability to work long hours while standing and under conditions of high temperatures.
- Portuguese language mandatory, English is a Plus.
