Position.
Backup Administrator Location.
Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid – 2 days on-site) What You’ll Do.
Manage backup systems, including Veritas NetBackup (versions ), OpsCenter, IT Analytics, and SAN Switches; Oversee Windows and Linux environments, IBM and Quantum robotic systems, and DataDomain VTLs; Handle installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and debugging of backup solutions; Provide exceptional client support by addressing service requests and resolving technical challenges; Perform reporting, capacity planning, automation, and scripting to maintain service efficiency.
What We’re Looking For.
Expertise with backup technologies, particularly Veritas NetBackup (v8, v9, v10); Familiarity with IBM and Quantum robotic systems and DataDomain VTLs; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues; At least 5 years of experience in backup management and related technologies; Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems – nice to have Fluency in Portuguese; English proficiency is a bonus.
