* Work closely with junior engineers, providing mentorship and guidance to help them grow and succeed * Collaborate with your team to deliver high-quality, well-tested code on time * Conduct thoughtful code reviews, offering constructive feedback to your peers * Build and maintain automated tests to ensure reliability and performance * Take ownership of deployments, monitoring, and maintaining live services * Participate in an on-call rotation, swiftly addressing alerts and resolving production incidents * Continuously optimize and enhance the billing technical stack, focusing on reducing technical debt * Design and implement scalable, highly available systems across multiple data centers * Ensure that our Automations feature is fast, reliable, and scales effectively as we grow, enhancing the user experience for all customers Does this sound like you? * Strong ability to collaborate with and mentor junior engineers, fostering their development * Proven track record in software development with an emphasis on delivering results * Demonstrated passion for engineering through personal projects and a strong product sense * Ability to step outside of your comfort zone, adapt quickly, and deliver solutions efficiently * Contributions to the Open Source community are a plus * Solid understanding of security threats and how to mitigate them * Experience with technologies such as Node.
