AZURE SECURITY ENGINEER

As an Azure Security Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud environment.
Working closely with IT, DevOps, and SecOps teams, you will design, implement, and manage security solutions to safeguard our organization's assets and data.
Your expertise in security best practices will help strengthen our security posture and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities.
Support the implementation of our Public Cloud Security strategy.
Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to align with corporate standards, industry regulations, and best practices.
Implement auditing and logging solutions to monitor security-related events and anomalies.
Set up and maintain Defender for Cloud and Azure Monitor for proactive security event monitoring.
Ensure timely application of security patches and updates across Azure resources.
Conduct training and awareness programs to educate the Security Community on best practices and potential risks.
Lead continuous remediation and improvement initiatives to strengthen security.
Requirements.
Strong experience in cloud security and Microsoft Azure environments.
Proficiency in Azure Policy, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and Terraform.
Familiarity with GitHub Actions and PowerShell scripting.
Proven experience in implementing and managing security frameworks in a cloud environment.
Strong understanding of security auditing, logging, and compliance practices.
