Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field We are looking for highly skilled data engineers to join our team and support the development and maintenance of our trading and risk data platform.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced software engineer who work alongside with other data professionals in designing and building data foundations and end to end solutions to maximize value from data.
As a Data Engineer, you will be involved in integrating and enriching trade data from several ETRM systems and build solutions that could scale and improve the usage of TRM data by different platforms and teams.
• Strong experience in implementation and management of lake House using Databricks and Azure Tech stack (ADLS Gen2, ADF, Azure SQL).
• Strong hands-on expertise with SQL, Python, Apache Spark and Delta Lake.
• Proficiency in data integration techniques, ETL processes and data pipeline architectures.
• Demonstrable experience using GIT and building CI/CD pipelines for code management.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for the platform.
• Ensure the platform is developed with software engineering, data analytics and data security practices in mind.
• Developing and optimizing data processing and data storage systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
• Experience working in Agile Methodology and well-knowledgeable in using ADO Boards for Sprint deliveries.
• Excellent communication skills and able to communicate clearly technical and business concepts both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with all the levels effectively by sharing ideas and knowledge.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud platform services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics).
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable data architectures.
• Proficient in ETL processes and tools.
• Advanced SQL and programming skills (e.
., Python, Scala).
• Familiarity with data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certifications in relevant Azure technologies are a plus.
