AUTOMATION TESTER

Position Description.
Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development.
Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialisation to develop simple applications solutions.
Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
1.
Developing Test Plans.
create detailed test plans and test cases based on specifications from the development team 2.
Executing Tests.
perform various types of testing, such as system, regression, load, and acceptance testing 3.
Identifying Defects.
identify, analyze, and document software defects, and work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and fix these issues 4.
Reporting.
generate reports on test results and provide feedback to project teams 5.
Ensuring Performance.
monitor the performance of the system to ensure it meets user requirements and can be used effectively in its operational environment 6.
Maintaining Test Environments.
maintain and upgrade test environments as needed in cooperation with development and operation teams Technical Skills 1.
Test Automation.
Proficiency in writing scripts for automated testing using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, JIRA, and Jenkins 2.
Bug Tracking.
Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA to manage and document defects 3.
Performance Testing.
Ability to assess the speed, responsiveness, and stability of a system under various conditions 4.
Security Testing.
Skills to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in software applications 5.
Version Control Tools.
hands on experience with Git, GitLab or similar tool Analytical Skills 1.
Attention to Detail.
Meticulousness in identifying and documenting even the smallest defects 2.
Critical Thinking.
Ability to think critically about how different components of a system interact and where potential issues might arise Soft Skills 1.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with development teams 2.
