Hybrid CGI is seeking an experienced ETL Data Engineer to join the Credit Development Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment focused on developing cloud-native, micro-service based financial services applications.
The ideal candidate will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to analyze, discover, define, document, and drive the data transformation flows for both inbound and outbound interfaces within the Credit platform.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities.
Collaborate with business owners and technology teams to align on requirements, design, and implementation strategies.
Conduct implementation reviews and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Utilize data modeling tools to manage and develop data models.
Monitor ETL processes to identify bottlenecks and optimize processing times.
Tune databases and scripts to enhance overall system performance.
Qualifications.
Strong experience in ETL development and integration.
Proficiency in leveraging data modeling tools.
Familiarity with cloud-native environments and microservice architecture.
Proven track record in performing code and implementation reviews.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on improving data transformation and processing performance.
Additional Skills (Preferred).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Experience with performance tuning in ETL processes and databases.
Knowledge of financial services applications is a plus.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
