We are looking for a new Finance Manager Assistant within our successful subsidiary located in Brussels.
In this role you will be providing support to the Finance Manager, working in tandem to support accounting & tax of the different companies based in Belgium and the Netherlands as well as support the office management administration.
What You’ll Do                                                                                                                                                         Every day is different, but below is a sample of what you will experience and expect to accomplish.
Participate in preparations for monthly and quarterly closings  Prepare monthly account analysis as well as the preparation of specific accounting entries  Work according the rules of American accounting (use of US accounts)  Prepare statistics for the various Belgian and Dutch institutions in case applicable  Management of expense reports and different types of payments  Management of supplier invoices (from PO creation to payment).
Plus support accounts payable for different departments.
Review of VAT declarations  Preparation of tax returns  Preparation of statutory accounts  Update of rental capitalization following US rules  Updating bank signatures  Participation in the implementation of projects   WHOA, this is totally me! 2-3 years of experience bachelor’s degree in accounting Experience in a multinational, and in the SAP system is an asset Fluent in French or Dutch, with a good base of English Versatile profile flexible in different administrative tasks Good knowledge of Excel High level of accuracy and an eye for details    What we offer you We offer a one year contract, with a possibility of an extension.
Excellent salary & benefit package including a 13th month & a bonus plan On an annual basis you are granted 29 holidays  From the end of May till the end of September we have “Summer Hours”  where we provide the flexibility to enjoy the weekend earlier on Friday afternoon Flexibility; we have a hybrid working model providing the possibility to work from home 2 days per week.
