Position Description.
US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED CGI Federal is currently looking for an Apex Developer SME with an active Top-Secret clearance to support a large project for a federal government client.
The Administrative Applications Unit (AAU) provides software application development and support services to the enterprise for administrative functions.
AAU develops, maintains, and supports a portfolio of custom-built and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products for customers.
This position is based in the National Capital Region.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Apex Developers will partner with and implement technical solutions for these customer divisions to meet their specific business needs.
• Provide web-based application support and conducts regular operations and maintenance (O&M) to keep the applications IT services secure and operating effectively and efficiently.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• 10+ years of application development skills with a proven track record of delivering complex technology projects.
• Active Top-Secret clearance.
• Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) • Oracle Application Express (APEX) experience • Operations and Maintenance (O&M) experience • Experience with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) • Strong interpersonal skills, relationship management, and facilitation abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both business and technical team members.
• Capability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with business partners and technology teams.
• Effective management of project-related tasks and issues.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Please note that due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.
