AI/ML ENGINEER

Position Description.
We're seeking a talented and experienced AI/ML Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing AI and machine learning models, with a focus on leveraging open source large language models (LLMs) and computer vision technologies.
This role requires expertise in Python programming and a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies and best practices, including natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.
This position is located in Jacksonville, Florida.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Develop and fine-tune AI/ML models based on open source LLMs and computer vision algorithms • Design and implement MLOps processes to streamline model development, deployment, and monitoring for both NLP and computer vision projects • Create human-in-the-loop systems for model training and evaluation across text and image data • Optimize AI/ML pipelines for performance and scalability • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing products and workflows • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and methodologies, particularly in NLP and computer vision Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Due to the nature of this work, this position requires US Citizenship and MUST be able to obtain a Secret clearance • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development, with a focus on NLP, LLMs, and computer vision • Strong programming skills, particularly in Python • Extensive experience with popular ML frameworks (e.
., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face) • Proficiency in developing and deploying ML models in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) • Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices (e.
., MLflow, Kubeflow, DVC) • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required.
• Experience with open source LLMs (e.
., BERT, GPT, T5) and computer vision models (e.
., YOLO, ResNet, U-Net) • Knowledge of image processing libraries (e.
., OpenCV, Pillow) • Experience with deep learning architectures for computer vision (CNNs, R-CNNs, GANs) • Familiarity with computer vision tasks such as object detection, image segmentation, and facial recognition • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) • Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (e.
., Apache Spark) • Experience with data annotation tools and processes for both text and image data • Understanding of ethical AI principles and practices, including bias mitigation in visual and language models CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
