AI Engineer (Mid) - Porto   Job Overview.
We are seeking a motivated AI Engineer to join Körber Digital.
This role is pivotal in developing rapid and efficient prototypes with a strong focus on AI technologies.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, creativity, a 'hacker mindset', and a passion for staying ahead in the fast-evolving AI landscape.
They should be comfortable in a dynamic, agile work environment and excel at creative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities.
Develop and iterate AI prototypes and products rapidly, ensuring they meet the users’ objectives and vision Apply DevOps best practices, including the use of Docker and hosting of applications, to streamline development and deployment processes Utilize Python programming language effectively, with proficiency in libraries such as Langchain, Pandas, and Streamlit Integrate various APIs to enhance prototype functionalities and interactions Exhibit expertise in Large Language Models (LLM), leveraging their capabilities in product development Implement testing best practices to ensure reliability and performance of prototypes Maintain high standards of code quality Actively stay informed of the latest developments in the AI field, continuously integrating new insights and technologies into prototype development Act as a sparring partner to the team for technical questions   Required Skills and Qualifications.
Proven experience in developing AI products Strong knowledge of DevOps best practices, including experience with Docker and application hosting on Azure or AWS Proficient in Python and familiar with libraries such as Langchain, Pandas, and Streamlit Demonstrated experience with API integrations In-depth understanding of Large Language Models (LLM) and their applications Experience with Hugging Face Dedication to writing clean maintainable code, while balancing the trade-off between fast development and efficient code Eagerness and curiosity to keep up-to-date with advancements in AI, related technologies and the ever-changing landscape of new tools Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary and entrepreneurial team   Preferred Qualifications.
