We are looking for an Accounts Receivable to join our pre-opening team at Andaz Lisbon.
Expected to open in Q, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital - and it will represent a key milestone in Hyatt's continued brand growth in Southern Europe.
Andaz Lisbon is set to become the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon.
Located in the center of Lisbon's bustling Baixa district and situated along the main pedestrian road, Rua Augusta, the hotel will be comprised of five separate buildings, including the former offices of one of the major banks in Portugal, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI).
This central building of the hotel will offer 170 guestrooms, with the surrounding four satellite buildings of the hotel offering guests various private suites to choose from.
This unique Urban Resort in the city center will allow guests to fully embrace the locale and experience authentic Lisbon.
We are looking for a talented and passionate Accounts Receivable to join our pre-opening team at Andaz Lisbon.
Responsibilities.
* Invoice Management.
Prepare, review, and issue invoices to clients and guests.
* Payment Tracking.
Monitor and record payments received, ensuring timely and accurate posting.
* Credit Management.
Assist in establishing customer credit through hotel policies, including application processes, reference checks, and setting credit limits.
* Reconciliation.
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
* Follow-Up.
Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
* Reporting.
Generate regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging.
* Documentation.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions.
* Communication.
Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve any billing issues.
* Pre-Opening Tasks.
Assist in setting up accounts receivable systems and processes, training staff, and ensuring readiness for hotel opening Requerimientos del candidato/a.
Qualifications.
* Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related finance role.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal Working in a luxury hotel environment, especially during the pre-opening phase, can be exciting and dynamic.
