Descrição da Função Join Decathlon CoE, an International Retail Company, that is creating a Center of Excellence in Lisbon! Your new Company Decathlon is setting up a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon.
Have the opportunity to join a growing financial services centralization company in the Retail Sector.
Your New Role As an Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for.
Participate in the setup of a Finance Center of Excellence (CoE) in Portugal to mutualize the overall efficiency of financial processes; Design the internal processes for which AP is responsible and contribute to their continuous improvement (efficiency and automation) – document and communicate them to stakeholders; Ensure accounting reliability, process improvement and value creation; Ensure communication, documentation and risk mitigation actions to support internal and external audits; Record, control and communicate transactions; Ensure the reconciliation of allocated balance sheet accounts – explain variations and guarantee the resolution of disputes and the regularization of overdue balances; Contribute to the closure of accounts and validation of financial statements; Ensure the application of Procurement policies and help to optimize expenses; Establish and organize the KPI’s for which the AP is responsible; Communicate transparently with business unit stakeholders through KPI’s and financial data).
What you will need to be succeed To be succeed as an Accounts Payable you will need.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Management (or related field); + 3 years of experience in the area; Excellent knowledge of Accounting and Finance Tools; Experience in implementing and/or migrating accounting systems (particularly SAP); Curiosity for process improvements; Critical thinking and mindset; Ambitious, proactive, dynamic and motivated individual to work in a collaborative environment; Love for physical activity and sports; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – Fluency in English and Portuguese.
